When a small group of like-minded individuals sat down to design a campus community that would ignite fire reminiscent of the early Church, the first thing they did was structure a mission statement. They needed one that encapsulated everything they felt so strongly needed to change about the current Church and the way the gospel is communicated. This is the FUSE mission:

"To seek out the true nature of Jesus Christ, and lead our college community toward a modern day realization of that truth; thereby refining and refocusing what has become accepted as the traditional Christian lifestyle."

Beneath the high flown rhetoric lies an unshakable determination to see real, lasting change come to Tallahassee, and the Church everywhere. And it boils down to this: Live like Christ. Love Like Christ.

Basically, FUSE believes that what matters is Jesus. Who He is, what He said, what He did. We believe Jesus is God, that He inspired the Word, and that following Him is worth whatever we have. Everything else is just religion. And religion bites.
